Pearl may have only launched in recent years, but even after our first event, we thought, "shucks," that's a lot of empty oyster shells to bin.

This ignited our hunt for sustainability and ways to reduce waste. We thought giving back to our oceans was a no-brainer, so we've partnered with The Australian Nature Conservancy, a pioneering foundation committed to conserving our wildlife, oceans and climate.

 

Pearl saves all used oyster shells and recycles them to their "shuck don't chuck" programme, a shellfish recycling project aimed at restoring Australia's lost reefs.
